Susan Frank
Susan is the founder and full-time director of Hearts for Homes. As a step of obedience and faith, she left her position at Liberty Christian School in Argyle, Texas, where she had been employed for many years. Susan has a servant’s heart and a love for home remodeling/repair. Those giftings and her love for people are vital to this ministry. Susan is married to Larry, and has two adult children and two grandchildren. Susan attends Lifegate Church in Denton.
Nancy Franke
Nancy is a recreation specialist at the Denton Senior Center. A graduate of the University of North Texas, she has a long love for serving seniors, having previously worked at Ann’s Haven Hospice and Lewisville Senior Center. Nancy is married to Arthur, and has two adult children and five grandchildren. She lives in Krum and is a member of Krum United Methodist Church. Her involvement with Hearts for Homes is a way of serving and thanking God for her many blessings.
Carolyn Ganzer
Carolyn is a paralegal with the firm of Gregory and Connor in Denton. She has a heartfelt desire to see the needs of people met, whether it be in her workplace, church or in the community. She is the #1 prayer warrior for Hearts for Homes. In Carolyn's words, "I can pray any time, any place, and cover the ministry in prayer, lift up the board members, volunteers, clients and the needs at any time, any hour. This ministry fits me wonderfully." A lifetime resident of Denton, Carolyn is married to Randy and has two adult daughters. She is an active member of Lifegate Church in Denton, where she serves in the women's ministries.
Eddie Lafuente
Eddie is the pastor of Lifegate Church in Denton, Texas. He and his wife have been involved with church ministry for the past eight years. Prior to moving to Denton, Eddie served as associate pastor of Champions Church in Abilene, Texas. Eddie is very missions-oriented, and is excited to be a part of Hearts for Homes. Eddie is married to Beth, and has three children.
Wade Moran
Wade is a certified public accountant with the firm of Ratliff and Sommerville in Arlington. We are very excited to have Wade's accounting expertise on the board because financial accountability is very important to our ministry. Wade lives in Corinth with his wife Martha and their three wonderful daughters. Wade and his family are actively involved in the ministries of Faith United Methodist Church in Denton.
Don Pooley
Don is the regional director of an IT solutions firm and recently moved to Denton, Texas, from Orlando, Florida. It was truly a divine appointment that brought Susan and Don together at a café in Argyle, Texas, after meeting on a cruise several years ago. Don brings vast knowledge and experience to Hearts for Homes, as he served with the same type of ministry for three years in Orlando, Florida. Don is married to Jeannine and has three adult children and three grandchildren. Don attends Argyle United Methodist Church.

Mike Briscoe
Mike is the owner of Classic Roof Systems in Denton, Texas, specializing in residential and business roof systems. As a lifelong resident of Denton, Mike was formerly a partner with his father, Jack, in Briscoe Tire. He founded Classic Roof Systems in 1993, and is thrilled to offer roofing assistance to those in need through Hearts for Homes. Because of his many contacts in the local community, Mike looks forward to getting others involved with our outreach. Mike is married to Sue and has two children who attend Liberty Christian School. Mike attends Denton Bible Church.
Michael Cline
Michael is the owner and president of Superior Floors, LLC in Coppell, Texas. He founded Superior Floors, LLC in 2000, with the vision to provide exceptional service with competitive pricing for the multi-family market. Michael and his wife, Audrey, have two sons who attend Liberty Christian School. They had been praying for several months for God to present them with an opportunity for their business to be able to give back to the community, and then they received Susan's initial letter about Hearts for Homes. They knew immediately that God had answered their prayers! Today, Michael is committed to providing the flooring needs for Hearts for Homes, in addition to soliciting contributions from various business owners in the multi-family market. Michael attends Fellowship Church in Grapevine.
Betty Kimble
Betty is the director of the American Legion Senior Center in Denton, Texas. As such, she has her finger on the pulse of Southeast Denton, which is a valuable asset to Hearts for Homes as we identify needs in the area. Betty also serves on the board of directors of R.S.V.P. of Denton County and the Fred Moore Child Care Center. Betty is an active member of Mount Pilgrim CME Church. She has two daughters (one deceased), two grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Bettye Myers
Bettye Myers, Ph.D., is a Professor of Kinesiology at Texas Woman's University. At 81 years of age, Bettye says that "she will continue teaching until it is no longer fun." Bettye is a very dynamic leader with a servant's heart. She has served on the board of directors for many non-profits in the Denton area, some of which include United Way, Denton City/County Day School, Cross Timbers Girls Scouts, and AIDS Services of North Texas. Because of her vast experience in the non-profit world, she has served as a personal mentor to Hearts for Homes director, Susan Frank. This mentorship has spanned over thirty years, as Bettye was one of Susan's college professors. As an active member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Bettye has served in many capacities there.
Martin Noto
Martin has recently retired from Liberty Christian School in Argyle, Texas, where he served as upper school principal and social studies teacher for many years. He is a people-person and has a servant’s heart. Martin has been an active member of the Denton Breakfast Kiwanis Club for many years. Martin is married to Elaine, and they have five adult children, eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Martin attends St. Paul Lutheran Church in Denton.
